COURSE DESCRIPTION
The COC Training constitutes preparing the students to appear for the COC examination. Hence, the complete syllabus of COC will be covered in detail. This will enable the students to obtain a working knowledge about physician coding. Once the student appears and passes the COC exam through the AAPC, they will be offered a COC credential unless they do not have two years of experience. In such cases, a COC-A credential is bestowed, till the student completes the requisite two years of experience. Once the student passes the exam, they can obtain an entry-level post as a Certified Coder and also use the COC credential after their name.
